10 Final Fantasy Cosplays

Final Fantasy has a huge arsenal of characters and your cosplay options are pretty wide. While some characters I can do whole features on I’m still partial to the rare and wild. Find 10 of my choices in today’s article. Each one is a treasure! Garuda by Lisa Lou Who. The detail of every inch […]

For the Love of the Dragon

My last Dragon Con post for the year is quite possibly my favorite. Two of my dear friends, Faces of Freya and Gambit’s Ink, had a wedding flash mob and I got to be there! Freya has loved Dragon Con for over 10 years and was so excited to get to share this amazing event […]

10 Little Mermaid Cosplays

Today’s Disney collection is one of my favorites. Cosplayers fearlessly create designs around a central character and make them their own. In this feature I’ve found 10 Ariel cosplayers that have done exactly that. They’re all Ariel from The Little Mermaid, but they’re all wildly different. That’s what cosplay is! The beauty of our community […]

  • I think part of my weakness for 1940s hair is how *neat and pretty* it is at the same time as it's *securely stowed.* Pin these styles well enough (and maybe even pomade them a little, I don't know), and you don't have to be terrified of wind. You can go on about your business without forever worrying about your hair. And that's. ~relieved sigh~ That's worth somethin'.

  • If you don't have bobby pins, try it with two hair ties. Start by pulling the back half of your hair into a high ponytail using one tie. Then, pull the rest of your hair into a larger ponytail around the first. This will give you the height and pop you are looking for!
